Although ocean is less than a half mile away, there is extremely limited public access and no public parking at the beach. We had to drive 5 miles to Neptune beach. The neighborhood was seedy at best. Rooms were old and run down, musty smelling, disgusting stains on furniture, toilet seat chipped and peeling. Nice clean motel close to may port Naval station. You'll get your exercise climbing stairs if your room is on the third floor.

Our room was changed as soon as we mentioned we could not open our door with our key for the 2nd time in one day. Hotel was not bad for the money but I do not expect to find cockroaches running around the room no matter what state it's located in! ...read more

First thing we noticed when we got into our room was the unpleasant smell. My wife went into the bathroom and noticed the floor was rather dirty, with a bottle cap, hair, and dirt. The lamp was covered with old spider webs. The sheets and towels did appear to be clean. ...read more
